Order Processing

An order is processed after:

  • Product details and quantity are confirmed
  • Required payment is received
  • Delivery and GST details are provided
  • Order acceptance is confirmed by Exotica Steel India

Production and dispatch timelines may vary for bulk, customised or private-label orders.

02

Shipping Charges

Unless specifically included in the quotation:

  • Freight, loading, unloading and transit insurance are charged separately
  • “To-pay” freight must be paid directly to the transporter by the customer
  • Special packaging, local delivery and handling charges may apply

The final shipping terms will be mentioned in the quotation, proforma invoice or order confirmation.

03

Dispatch and Delivery Time

Dispatch and delivery timelines are estimates and may depend on:

  • Product availability and production schedule
  • Order quantity and customisation
  • Payment confirmation
  • Transporter availability
  • Delivery location, weather and road conditions
  • Government restrictions or other circumstances beyond our control

Exotica Steel India will make reasonable efforts to dispatch orders within the confirmed timeline but cannot guarantee the transporter’s delivery date unless agreed in writing.

04

Delivery Information

Customers must provide an accurate:

  • Business or customer name
  • Delivery address and PIN code
  • Mobile number
  • GST number, where applicable
  • Transporter preference, if any

Additional freight, detention or re-delivery charges caused by incorrect information, refusal to accept goods or unsuccessful delivery may be charged to the customer.

05

Transport and Tracking

After dispatch, available details such as the invoice, bilty or tracking information will be shared with the customer.

Once the shipment is handed over to the transporter, delivery movement and timing are subject to the transporter’s service conditions. Responsibility for freight and transit risk will be determined by the terms stated in the applicable quotation or invoice.

06

Receiving the Shipment

At the time of delivery, the customer or authorised recipient should:

  • Check the number and condition of packages
  • Inspect the outer packaging for visible damage
  • Record damage or shortage on the transporter’s receipt
  • Make an uninterrupted unboxing video
  • Retain the packaging, invoice and bilty
Do not accept visibly damaged goods without recording the issue with the transporter.
07

Damage, Shortage or Incorrect Supply

Visible damage, shortage, incorrect products or packaging issues must be reported within 7 days of delivery.

The claim must include:

  • Invoice and bilty
  • Clear photographs and unboxing video
  • Product name, size and affected quantity

Claims will be handled according to our Return & Claim Policy.

Delivery Delays

Exotica Steel India will not be responsible for delays caused by transporters, strikes, weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, road closures, incorrect delivery information or other circumstances beyond reasonable control.

A delivery delay does not automatically qualify an order for cancellation, refund or compensation.
